In addition, they opened up the Law scroll to find answers to the kinds of questions Gentiles would ask of their idols.
And they laid open the books of the law, in which the Gentiles searched for the likeness of their idols:
The Gentiles would have consulted their idols in such a situation, but the Israelites unrolled
